Jane Meier:
"Dr. Hendricks:
I
am writing this letter to let you know how much I appreciate
you and what your staff have been able to do for me
as a result of having LASIK performed at the end of
January this year.
Prior to having the surgery, my life consisted
of wearing corrective lenses since I was 10 years old.
Day in and day out it was the same old ritual of cleaning,
disinfecting and sometimes sleeping in my contacts which
I would pay for the next morning realizing what I had
done.
I had heard about LASIK but never really
entertained it as an option for me. After my very first
visit with you, I soon came to realize that I was an
ideal candidate for the procedure.
Oh sure, there was some anxiety of having
this procedure but you and your staff went the extra
mile to make sure that I was completely comfortable
with all facets of the surgery.
It was absolutely incredible at the response
I had to the procedure, even as early as getting up
out of the chair postoperatively. I was actually able
to read the clock, to the minute, on the opposite side
of the room. This was a clock that I didn't even know
existed without the use of my corrective lenses.
My eyesight has continued to improve and
at last visit, my correction was 20/15. This is pretty
amazing considering the fact that I was a -7.00 to begin
with.
I love my new eyesight and wake up everyday
wishing that I would have considered LASIK much sooner
than I actually did. I still can't get used to the fact
that I can wake up and read the clock in the morning
without having it one inch from my face.
Thank you very much for your expertise
and the genuine concern that you and your staff have
shown me. This has truly changed my life!"
